Committees PDF Print E-mail

ANC Committees each consist of three or four Commissioners. Each committee may have up to three members from the community (residents of ANC 1C) who have a voice on committee issues but no vote. One of these members will be considered the Senior Committee Advisor. Community members may serve on only one committee. All committee assignments must be approved by the full Commission. ANC 1C committees do not record minutes of their meetings. The official record of committee actions is the reports and resolutions that committees present to the full ANC, typically at the next business meeting. These are reported in the ANC meeting minutes.
